Measuring guidance
A few measurements. A clearer conversation.
Approximate measurements are useful for a first discussion. The final measuring method depends on the product, heading style and fitting position.
- For curtains, note the rod or track width and the height from its intended position to your chosen finishing point.
- For blinds, note the opening width and height, and whether you are considering an inside or outside mount.
- For upholstery, provide the overall width, depth and height of the piece, plus photos.
Before you order made-to-measure products
Ask us to confirm the product-specific measuring instructions. If you would like a measuring visit, share your location and we’ll discuss the arrangements based on distance. Our rates are very reasonable, and any costs will be explained before booking.
Initial dimensions help us discuss your enquiry. Final order measurements need to be checked for the exact product and mounting method.

How are measuring visits arranged?
Measuring visits and installation are arranged based on your location and distance from our Cape Town base. Share your suburb or postcode and we’ll discuss the best option with you. Our rates are very reasonable, and we’ll explain any travel or service costs before arranging a visit.
Can you quote from photographs?
Photos and approximate dimensions help us understand your request. The team will let you know whether further measurements or an assessment are needed to finalise a quotation.
Can I visit the showroom instead?
Yes. Our showroom is at Unit 4, Stonefountain Terrace, Klipfontein Road, Mowbray, Cape Town. Contact us before travelling if you need to discuss a particular product or service.
